Pax is launching Writer’s Night at the gallery. Starting in May, we’re hosting this event every third or fourth Thursday of the month. Here are the details:
Who is it for? Writer’s Night is for people who want to share what they’ve written, and for people who want to see and hear others share their writing. All kinds of writers are welcome, and so is anyone that likes to listen to other people express their creativity.
What kind of writing can I share? What do you have? Bring a short story, a song, an essay, spoken word, stand-up comedy, a poem or whatever else you’ve put into words. If you can share it in ten minutes or less, Writer’s Night is your place.
When is it? The first Writer’s Night is May 25th. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the first writer will be up at 7:00. If you plan on reading, singing or otherwise performing, arrive before 7 to sign up. We’ll wrap the evening up around 9:00.
Where is it? Pax Gallery, 373 Martin Street, Blaine WA
